| The paper observed the reality show in China, at the same time under a certain degree of consistency, inducing the four stages of development:represented by survival challenge program bud period, represented by talent selection program of exploration period, represented by parent-child class program development period, represented by star driver of pluralistic subjects of mature period.Via representative monographs, core periodical literature at home and abroad, this paper concluded that previous studies often focus on resolving reality TV show in the internal elements of the production process and communication mechanism, giving priority to with linear research. Microscopic dissemination and production process is very beneficial, but mere linear analysis can’t get overall appearance of the reality TV show. Reality TV show is not in a vacuum environment, its present situation and the results not only depends on the internal mechanism, instead that a macro, integrated, interactive social information system is the living conditions of the reality TV show. As the result of it, the reality TV medium and macroscopic comprehensive inspection is necessary. The paper adopts the theory of information science, control studies, the macro perspective of the reality TV show. This will be placed in a general contact and interaction of structure, the transmission of the social system to parse national policies affect the reality TV show, market environment, the mechanism, the audience feedback.The paper analyzed the reality TV shows in four perspectives. On the one hand, combed the history of the China’s media system and the state administration of reality TV show. On the other hand, represent the economic methods of reality TV show and advertising revenue of the brand shows and televisions, such as Hunan TV, Zhejiang TV, Jiangsu TV. and concrete manifestation, television, and the internal and external system, along with their relative audience. Through control of political, economic, industrial, and audience control, the paper concluded that in our country reality TV show has these following problems: over-introduced, blindly following, severe homogeneity, delayed in innovation, profit mode too simple, single advertising theory, too many celebrities and so on.How to balance the political orientation and business? How to foster the independent innovation ability from the introduction of old habits? How to get rid of the star driving and cultivate diverse profit methods?
