The Distribution And Trend Analysis Of Several Emerging Themes In Library Science Research In China

With the development of society and technology, our libraries face many new problems and challenges, so library science should also promote the development of the times. Library and many other disciplines have very close links, and library science research is more widely. This article analyzes the distribution and trends of the emerging themes in library science research, although now domestic and foreign research of emerging topic is fewer, reference literature is relatively limited and emerging themes have no clear definition. But by drawing on other scholars' experience and research, the author learned emerging themes do not necessarily mean the most valuable, we can be understood as emerging themes have become hot topics or will soon become hot topics.This article is divided into four parts. The first part analyzes and compares Chinese and foreign research status on emerging topics, and explains the purpose of the study is learning status and trends of emerging themes on library science research, and discusses the research method and innovation of this paper on this basis. The second part, through questionnaires and papers statistics, concludes ten emerging themes, namely big data, open access, reading promotion, mobile library, human library, wisdom library, ubiquitous library, ubiquitous service, private library and library social responsibility. The third section selects the topic in CNKI retrieval condition, the source category as the core journals, time for the 2000--2015 years, respectively enter ten emerging themes and organize the relevant data, the author analyzes the distribution of the emerging themes from the quantitative distribution, time distribution and authors distribution, and adopts the total- sub-structure to describe themes in detail. The fourth part analyzes research trends and prospects of ten emerging themes. The upward trend of emerging themes is reading promotion, wisdom library, private library and big data; The parallel trend of emerging themes is human library, ubiquitous library and open access; The downward trend of emerging themes is mobile library, ubiquitous service and library social responsibility. Upward trend themes do not necessarily represent direction of development in the future, and the downward trend is not necessarily the subject of no research value. This article provides a reference for the people, to help them understand the current status of emerging topics research.
