We have been able to fully understand that the technology has created so much in this era,and the mushroomed electronics which make the many incredible wishes real.Science and technology in the book's imagination also have been brought into our real life.Visible that we can not live without technology and creation, and these new things come into being based on science, technology, engineering and mathematics and other disciplines we must master and use.The United States pioneered the science, technology, engineering and mathematics collectively referred to as STEM curriculum, included in the national key education program to cultivate the scientific quality, technical ability, engineering thinking and mathematical thinking of young students in the new era.Our country is in an important rising period of economic construction and we urgently need a large number of science and technology talents.Obviously, current education can not satisfy such needs. In addition, our country started STEM education later than the United States and Europe. Therefore, what we need to do is to absorb on the basis of excellent foreign experience, and then we carefully scrutiniz the current situation of our science curriculum. To a certain extent, the textbook is the key to open the right door to STEM.Therefore, this research paper chooses the relevant content of the first to third of junior high school science textbook(red, green and blue)of California State Press and Zhejiang Education Press as the research object, and analyzes two sets of textbooks from the brand new perspective of STEM.From this perspective, the author follows up the latest research on STEM and selects two distinct characteristics of its comprehensiveness and practicality to carry out research.Through the text analysis, the author gets the following conclusions:1?In the aspect of comprehensiveness,California version of junior middle school science textbook interdisciplinary concept amounted to 113,while only 86 of zhejiang. And in the present interdisciplinary concept of the way, compared to California Zhejiang version is not flexible enough, clever enough.2? The practice of Zhejiang for the lack of explanation of scientific phenomena, design solutions, with evidence to clarify their views, access to information, expression analysis of these three aspects of the content,to ensure the integrity of the activities, and the cultivation of students' ability of scientific practice on the California version there are obvious deficiencies.Based on the conclusion of this study,I provide some references for reformation the science textbook in zhejiang. However, there are also some deficiencies in this study, and they can be constantly improved in further research.
