With the rapid development of the Internet,people's demand for social and learning using the Internet keeps improving.At present,the popularity of WeChat has undoubtedly satisfied people's needs in these areas.It is not only an important medium for information communication and interpersonal communication,but also a new means for people to acquire knowledge.As with other industries,education has become increasingly aware of the importance of WeChat,and has continuously applied its new functions to education and teaching.WeChat group,circle of friends,the public number has become a new tool for mobile learning.This study applies micro letter platform to junior high school English teaching,aims to use the new network means to explore a new method of junior middle school English teaching,and try to solve some problems in current junior middle school English teaching,and puts forward some new ideas for improving English teaching.In this study,the application of WeChat platform in junior middle school English teaching was analyzed in detail by literature method,questionnaire survey method,interview method and case study method.First of all,in the related literature at home and abroad to understand WeChat platform based on the application status of junior middle school English teaching,further analyze the WeChat platform in the junior middle school English teaching application of theoretical basis,advantages and challenges.Second,through to the junior high school is grade six to nine students and parents of students questionnaire survey and interviews,to understand problems in English learning in junior high school students,and students and parents to use WeChat platform to learn English the needs,wishes and Suggestions,provides the practice basis for the research.Thirdly,based on the investigation,combining the features and advantages of WeChat platform,this paper further analyzes the point cut,application mode and application strategy of WeChat platform in junior English teaching.Finally,through two case studies,the effect of WeChat platform in junior middle school English teaching is preliminarily tested.The study found that middle school students and teachers have the need and willingness to learn from WeChat.Using WeChat platform to carry out junior middle school English teaching in listening,speaking,reading,writing several aspects can be applied.WeChat platform can be applied to different parts of English teaching in junior middle school,and can effectively connect the teaching before,during and after class.WeChat platform can be applied to independent learning,cooperative learning,inquiry learning and other learning methods.Using WeChat platform of junior middle school English teaching should be based on the problems existing in the junior middle school students' English learning and learning needs to determine WeChat learning goals and content,and on the basis of the suitability of the content of the learning,mobile learning environment,parents whether appropriate participation condition selection WeChat application time.It is necessary to develop the use system of WeChat and enhance the information literacy of WeChat users by using WeChat platform to carry out junior middle school English teaching.
