| The purpose of this research is to explore the feasibility and validity of the assistance of WeChat in junior middle school Chemistry teaching.The literature on the assistance of WeChat in teaching in recent years is looked up and analyzed.It is found that the research on the assistance of WeChat in teaching in China is just unfolding with more theoretical discussion,and there is very little practical research implemented into the process of education and teaching.Firstly,some questionnaires on the attitude of teachers,students and parents towards the use of WeChat and its assistance in teaching are designed to explore some supporting conditions and suggestions on the assistance of WeChat in teaching.Through the statistical analysis of questionnaires,it is found that 95.00% of the teachers have used WeChat,and the teachers who have used it for three years account for 67.50%.In addition,70.00% of the teachers are willing to accept the form of the assistance of WeChat in teaching.97.19% of the students have mastered the basic function of WeChat and 95.67% of them are optimistic about the assistance of WeChat in teaching.96.14% of the parents express that WeChat has become a kind of essential information exchange means in life and 70.43% of them are in favor of the assistance of WeChat in teaching.Through the further analysis of students' questionnaires,it is found that 95.66% of the students believe that the status of Chemistry learning is not optimistic.In their opinion,there are many problems such as too rigid teaching methods and single teaching materials.Thus it can be seen that there are basic conditions with supportability to conduct the research on the assistance of WeChat in Chemistry teaching.In addition,there are also some suggestions on the construction of a WeChat platform,and the screening and pushing of teaching materials.Secondly,on the basis of the analysis of literature and questionnaires,the Autonomous Learning theory,the Mobile Learning Theory and the ARCS Model are taken as the basis to construct a WeChat platform.The related teaching resource is screened and a teaching plan is made around the third unit of junior middle school Chemistry.Taking the students from the third year of a junior middle school as the object to be tested and taught,the constructed platform is taken as the basis for the assistance of WeChat in teaching and the effectiveness test.The test result shows that the excellent rate,pass rate,average score of the experimental class are higher than those of the control class.Thereinto,the difference of the excellent rate is 19.90 percentage points,and the difference of the average score is 4.2 points.The effect on the assistance in the students' understanding and grasping some knowledge such as the nature of molecules,and the process of the formation of ions is particularly prominent.It can be seen that difficulties can be broken through effectively to improve the overall performance of students through the assistance of WeChat in the teaching of the third unit of junior middle school Chemistry.Finally,through the communication with the related front-line teachers and students as well as the reflection on the research process and the research result,it is concluded that there are three requirements in the effect assistance of WeChat in Chemistry teaching:Firstly,in the assistance of WeChat in teaching,four links are strictly controlled,including the construction of a platform,the screening of resources,the distribution of resources and feedback testing.Secondly,for teaching resources,screening should be optimized and design should be miniaturized.Pursuit truth,goodness and beauty.Finally,teaching resources should be used wisely,and the timely,advisable and moderate requirement should be met to the most extent. |
