The Guidelines for Kindergarten Education(Trial)clearly pointed out:“kindergartens should provide children with healthy,rich life and activity environment”.As part of the kindergarten environment,the class wall environment has a subtle influence on young children.Whether or not the education value can be effectively exerted depends on the children’s preference choice.If we want our children to gain learning experience and educational value from the class wall environment,we must create a class wall environment that is loved by young children.In the present study,from the perspective of young children,the research on the elements of class wall environment favored by young children is relatively lacking,the author believes that it is very necessary to study the preference of young children for different elements of the class wall environment.This study focuses on the characteristics of children’s preference for the different elements of the class wall environment.The study select a total of 60 children of a kindergarten in Shenyang city as subjects(including children,infant and preschool classes 20 each).By using the test method and interview,the children’s preference for the different elements of the wall environment of the class was investigated,and SPSS20.0 was used to make a descriptive analysis.This study is divided into five chapters:The first chapter is the introduction,which includes four parts: the origin of the study,the significance of the study,the definition of the concept and the literature review.The background and value of the study are demonstrated by the origin and significance of the research.The literature reviews the literature of children’s preference,the environment of kindergarten wall and the preference of young children on the environmental factors of the class wall,and the growth point of the study is clarifies.The second chapter is the research design,which elaborates the purpose and contents of the study,expounds the selection of research objects,the application oftest method and interview method is introduced in detail,and the method of data statistics and analysis is introduced.The third chapter is the results and analysis of the study,using SPSS 20.0 to analyze children’s preference for the different elements of the class wall environment,and explain the data of the research results.The fourth chapter is the discussion,children’s preference for the different elements of the class wall environment for specific performance,young children like familiar subjects in life,children prefer mild bright colors,children like the fine layout of the wall and children like operable materials.There are significant differences in children’s preferences for class wall environment themes and color elements,but there is no significant difference in layout elements and material preferences.Children of different sexes have significant differences in class wall environment themes and color preferences,but there is no significant difference in layout elements and material preferences.The fifth chapter is the conclusion and suggestions,and based on the results and discussion of the research,the strategy of setting up the wall environment of the kindergarten class is put forward.Specifically,it includes: Respect children’s individual characteristics,create appropriate wall environment;Material selection combined with child experience,timely replacement of wall layout;Reasonable with the type of color,use the appropriate number of colors;Reasonable layout of space to meet the aesthetic needs of children;Make full use of existing resources to develop a variety of materials channels. |
