is no substantial change of China's urban and rural dual economic structure,however,the phenomenon of the population flow is still intensifying,the number and size of it continues to increase and expand.As metropolis provide more employment opportunities and social resources,most of the population flow to large cities and increase the population of them.But in the process of migration,migration of the population can better adapt to and integration into the urban society of the local city's economic development and social stability has an important influence in many aspects,at the same time,to the local population structure and social relations also has an important influence.Although Shanghai is only a hundred years old,its economic level has been higher.Especially in recent years,Shanghai's foreign population growth is huge,huge Numbers of floating population in Shanghai,the number of floating population size,rapid growth,the number of floating population with almost equal to this locality census register population.With the influx of foreign population in Shanghai,a group of people are gradually formed,known as “new Shanghainese”.The new Shanghainese are now working all walks of life in Shanghai,contributing their own strength to the economic development and urban construction of this city,and gradually becoming the main force of Shanghai's urban development.However,due to various factors,the social identity of the new Shanghainese is not high,which seriously affects their enthusiasm of work and life in the city of Shanghai as well as doing negative impact on the development of the city.As a result,it becomes an urgent problem to be solved on how to improve the social identity of the new Shanghainese.Based on “new Shanghainese” as the research object,introduces the status quo,the social identity of “new Shanghainese” on the part of the “new Shanghainese” combination of questionnaire survey,summed up the various factors influencing the new Shanghai social recognition,at the same time,puts forward the corresponding Suggestions.The first part is the introduction,which mainly analyzes the background and significance of the topic,the current situation of domestic and foreign research,and the research methods and main methods.The second part is the theoretical elaboration.From two aspects of the “new Shanghainese” and social identity to define the concept of research,and from the social identity theory and new public service theory two aspects as the research laid the theoretical foundation.The third part analyzes the status quo of social identity of new Shanghainese,and introduces five aspects of policy,economy,behavior,culture and social identity.Urban identity is the city influence,competitiveness,popularity,reputation of the tranquilizer and the strong heart.Through the study,it can be found that the factors influencing the social identification of new Shanghainese can be carried out from five dimensions,including policy,economy,behavior,cultural integration,and social identification.The policy aspect is mainly the foreign population policy adopted by the Shanghai municipal government.Economic aspects include employment opportunities,professional prestige,work environment,social security,living environment,and education training.Behavioral aspects include interpersonal communication,marital behavior,community involvement and group identification.Cultural integration,includes the situation of Shanghai dialect,life habits,education situation,and attitudes and attitudes towards children education.In terms of social identification,there are two aspects,they are the local view of the new Shanghainese and the misunderstanding of the social identity of the new Shanghainese.Based on of different content of the investigation and analysis of the five dimensions,some factors will have a great impact on the social identification of new Shanghainese,so it is necessary to take effective measures to promote the social identity of new Shanghainese.The fourth part through the questionnaire survey was carried out on the part of the new Shanghai person,from the policy factors,economic factors,behavioral factors,cultural factors and their own several dimensions to analyze the real situation and level of social identity,and thus for the further analysis of factors influencing the social identity of the “new Shanghainese” provide more convincing facts and data to support.The fifth part is to improve the social identification of new Shanghainese.On the public policy level,we should actively promote household registration reform and optimize public service standards.Social advise level,to encourage the development of Shanghai cultural diversity,the use of community platform to promote psychological fusion,build a reasonable evaluation mechanism,to improve yourself on self improvement level comprehensive quality,positive life in Shanghai.In general,the research has achieved the intended purpose,and the factors that affect the social identification of the new Shanghainese are found through analysis,and the Suggestions are put forward to improve the social identification of the new Shanghainese.Finally,in the conclusion of the thesis,the author summarizes the main contribution of the thesis and the research reflection,and points out the research direction of future immigrant social identity.This study,based on the research of “the impact of new Shanghainese social identity”,has a positive effect on making up the gaps in existing academic research.In this study the “new Shanghainese” as the research object,through the analysis of the status quo of their social identity as well as the factors that affect the social identity,put forward the Suggestions for the improvement of their social identity,to promote urban migrants social integration and construction of a harmonious society has important strategic significance. |
