Professional identity is concerned with the degree of integration and identity between themselves and their profession,and is the staffs evaluation of the affirmation and positivity of their profession.The professional identity of college administrators means that college administrators accept and approve their work from the heart,and have positive feelings and evaluations on many aspects of the job.From the existing research results,there are many studies related to the professional identity of faculty and staff in colleges and universities,but they are more inclined to the group of teachers and the group of counselors among administrative staff,but they pay less attention to the entire group of administrative staff.There are more descriptive researches and less empirical researches on the professional identity of university administrators.At present,there are papers on the burnout and career management of university administrators,but the research conclusions have not been widely recognized,people have not reached a broad consensus,and a rigorous and perfect theoretical system has not been formed.Therefore,we can continue to dig deep into the professional identity of university administrators.This paper carefully analyzes the relevant literature at home and abroad,and takes into account the shortcomings of existing research,combines qualitative research with quantitative research,and has a structure,characteristics,influencing factors and effects on the professional identity of university administrators.Mechanism for in-depth discussion.Specifically,this paper selects 264 university administrators as research objects to understand the status of their professional identity and the influencing factors.Based on the relevant theories of college administrators’ professional identity and current research results,the professional identity is divided into three dimensions:attributed professional identity,beneficial professional identity,and successful professional identity,and the professional identity of college administrators is examined.Differences in demographic variables.Based on the structural equation model,the relationship between personnel policy,occupational stress,work behavior tendency,occupational gain,and occupational identity was studied.The impact of demographic variables on the relationship between the three was analyzed,and colleges were analyzed The status quo of administrative staffs own professional identity and the reasons for it,and put forward effective mitigation approaches,which are beneficial to the development of administrative staffs career and promote the harmonious development of colleges and universities.
