| Emotion regulation ability refers to that individuals in recognition and understanding of their own and others’ emotions take appropriate ways to express,regulate the emotions and help others regulate emotions,mainly composed of emotion recognition and understanding,emotional expression,emotion regulation,emotion using.Emotion regulation has an important significance on young children’s physical and mental health,social development and the development of children’s life.However,children will inevitably encounter many emotional problems in their life,due to its insufficient development of social cognitive and emotional feelings,they can’t take appropriate ways to regulate mood.Kindergarten is the important place of emotional education for young children,this study attempts to choose emotional subject picture books as the carrier to carry out series of emotional education activities,so as to explore the effective strategies of emotion education activities and promote the development of children’s emotion regulation ability.In addition,it provides references and suggestions for kindergarten to carry out activities related to emotional education practices.The main research method is action research method,this study selected a big class of kindergarten as a class of cooperation,and investigator and two teachers of class form the study community.This study is to explore how to use emotions theme picture books to carry out education activities through the implementation,reflection adjustment,implementation and reflection of the practical action.Earlier,according to the development of children’s emotion features and related theory knowledge,investigator initially design education activities from the target,content,principle,evaluation.Action research process mainly include two modules:special emotion education and random emotion education,the main form of special emotional education is collective teaching.This study selected the common emotions of angry,sad,fear,jealousy in children’s life and it is divided into implementation and improvement of "basic emotion" education activity and the "implementation and improvement" of the complex mood education activities,and for each emotions,investigators choose the corresponding theme picture books.In the implementation of each emotion theme education activities,it is with young children’s recognition and understanding,expression,regulation and using of each emotion as the goal of education activities so as to promote the development of children’s emotion regulation ability in their entirety.Random emotional education activities is to make full use of learning chance of emotional events in children’s life for children’s emotional education.Research adopts the experimental design of control group vs experiment group,meanwhile,the questionnaire method and the qualitative observation analysis is used for measuring the effectiveness of emotional education activities whice choosing emotional picture books as the carrier.After the action research of nearly three months,the conclusions are as follows:1.After the implementation of specialized emotional education activities and random emotional education activities,the post-test scores of the children in the experimental class were improved in the dimensions of emotional recognition and understanding,emotional expression and emotional control,and there is 0.05 level of the significant differences between the control glass and experimental class.2.In the use of emotional adjustment strategies,the children of experimental class use active regulation strategy of cognitive reconstruction,problem solving,alternative activities more often.The use rate of the negative regulation strategies has declined,such as emotional vent,aggressive behavior.3.The simultaneous implementation of specialized emotional education activities based on picture book reading and discussion,storytelling,situational performances,emotional games,collective conversation,painting,case discussion and so on and the random opportunistic emotional education activities based on emotional events of children’s life can play a role in promoting the development of children’s emotional adjustment ability.Therefore,teachers can put the emotional picture books as a carrier to carry out emotional education activities,whice can effectively promote the development of children’s emotional adjustment ability. |
