With the development of social economy,science and technology become important in all field.Basic education,as the magnitude guarantee of scientific and technological progress,has got more and more attentions.However,the superior educational resources are scarce and uneven in the current stage of China,and the “large class” phenomenon has been hastened.The reality have proven that “large class” problem severely restricted the quality of education,limited the fairness of education and violated the principle of “quality education”.Consequently,the solution of “large class” problem is the urgent demand of educational development and social progress in our country.This paper analyzes the “large class” situation of Shandong Province.The statistic results showed that the “large class” problem in urban areas are more serious than that in rural areas,and the senior school showed more serious condition than elementary school and junior high school.With the influence facts analysis of nine cities in Shandong Province,it can be obtained that the proportion of “large class” is significantly negatively correlated with the urbanization rate(r=-0.873)and negatively correlated with the per capita GDP(r=-0.767).Through analyze and forecast on the future development of “large class” problem,it can be concluded that Shandong Province will confront a more serious situation on this issue.Based on the “large class” situation of Shandong Province and the related experiences at home and abroad,we advise the comprehensive solutions to resolve the “large class” problem of Shandong Province.Firstly,the “large class” quota can be ruled by legal means,and the definition of “large class” can also be delegated.Secondly,the balanced economy development should be accelerated and the urban construction should be strengthened to solve the “large class” problem radically.Lastly,the allocation of educational resources can be optimized by setting up private education,implement university district,etc.
