| With the deeper research into the core quality of the history subject, which aims at requiring students to form the thinking quality and key competence with the characteristic of history subject in the process of learning history, the illustration, as the easiest teaching resource,gets more and more attention by history teachers. In this situation, it is important to carry out the study on theory and practice of illustrations in secondary school history textbooks, which can improve the current situation of the history teaching in secondary school, cultivate students’historical thinking and humane spirit, and update the curriculum system construction of the history subject in secondary school.Guided by Ordinary High school History Curriculum Standard (Experiment)(2003), and combined with relevant educational theory, curriculum theory and the existing research results,this thesis takes the history book of compulsory 1 in senior high school(2003), which was published by People’s Education Press, as an example, analyzes and states some aspects of the illustration and its application in the history textbook, and then summarizes the strategy and method of the application of the illustration in history textbook.First of all, this thesis adopts the literature research method, and explains the connotation of the illustration in the history book of compulsory 1 in senior high school, which includes the definition, status and the classification of the illustration, and explains the plural functions of the illustration in history teaching; Secondly,this thesis uses the method of interview to discuss the application of illustration used by history teacher in senior high school in the process of teaching, analyzes the accuracy in the picture question from students’ mid-term test papers and final test papers to know the efficiency of learning illustration, and finally through the data analysis of the research results, this thesis finds out some problems in the process of applying the illustration in textbook; At last, through the reflection of applying the illustration in textbook, this thesis incorporates the concrete cases to state the strategy, announcement and the method of improving the illustration teaching. The author hopes that the learned knowledge can be helpful in the current teaching of illustration in history subject. |
