The spirit of new curriculum reform stressed that we need to respect the individual development of students, to bring into the main role of students fully in the classroom, to develop students’ comprehensive quality better.Spirit of new curriculum reform has been more widely deep into our daily education teaching. But at the same time, the influence of the exam-oriented education is still there. Teaching of knowledge light ability, heavy theory,light practice, the phenomenon such as heavy accept light interaction still is a normal phenomenon in high school political lessons. Most schools is still given priority to the traditional teaching method. Teachers still hold speaking right of the classroom. Students are still the listeners and the receivers of teaching material .In order to conform to the requirements of the new curriculum reform, to improve teachers’ quality, to promote the all-round development of students, in this article, I combined with teaching practice to the high school political lesson teaching in the main type of case teaching method for the following research.On the basis of a summary of "case-based teaching", the author concludes the"the main line type case-based teaching method", and its theoretical basis are reviewed. By comparing the traditional case-based teaching, case-based teaching method and the main line type analysis of the main line type case-based teaching method in selected cases, the advantage lies in students participating in, the teacher accomplishment and classroom atmosphere building. This teaching method is more suitable for the concept of new curriculum reform and requirements. At the same time the author analyzed"the main line type case teaching method" in high school political lesson of the application of the methods and process. From the selection of case and development, the problems of design and implementation, the use of classroom teaching skills and teaching reflection, thoroughly discusses the process and method of the use of teaching methods. And combining with the current status of teaching, the teaching method for some forward-looking analysis may encounter obstacles, and sums up the "main type case-based teaching method" in the political lesson teaching application. Finally, in terms of "the main line type case teaching method" in high school political lesson teaching applications possible obstacles and concerns, the author put forward some feasible suggestions.
