Classical Chinese, the literary language used in ancient China, is a kind of written language of a long history. Though it is no longer used in daily communication and written text, great importance is still attached to it in school education. Classical Chinese is not only an important part of the traditional culture but also the carrier of the inheritance of the Chinese culture. Classical Chinese, with its concise and refined, elegant and meaningful content, bears the essence of Chinese traditional culture and the wisdom of ancient people. Most of all, Classical Chinese presents the nation's civilization.Students majoring in Tour Guide in secondary vocational school should have a good command of the knowledge of the Chinese culture. Chinese language teaching ,especially the teaching of Classical Chinese, helps the students grasp the common sense of Chinese ancient culture, cultivates students' love for the motherland,improves their literature accomplishments and inherit the excellent traditional culture of the nation. So the learning of Classical Chinese, to some degree, is to inherit the great traditional culture of China.Despite the long history, how to learn Classical Chinese well remains a question worthy of serious consideration. Only when Classical Chinese is well understood, can the soul of the students be shocked and the rigid teaching of Classical Chinese be avoided. Thus, the most efficient way is to encourage students to learn actively.In this paper, based on the relationship of the teaching of Classical Chinese and the inheritance of the traditional culture, the author points out the significance of teaching the students majoring in Tour Guide Classical Chinese in secondary vocational school, studies the current Classical Chinese learning situation and makes reasonable analysis. Following that, the author investigates the teaching content of the Classical Chinese in secondary vocational school from the perspective of cultural heritance, analyses its feature, sorts out the content of the teaching texts and develops the teaching resources. In teaching practice, the author pays attention to the combination of the Classical Chinese with "Wu" culture and adopts various teaching approaches, such as subject development, activity experience and comprehensive practice, etc. The author also highlights the feature of teaching the students majoring in Tour Guide Classical Chinese in secondary vocational school.Last but not the least,from the perspectives of reconstructing the teaching contents and evaluation standard along with the effective ways of carrying out the teaching activities, the author suggests the ways of realizing the inheritance of the traditional culture in the process of teaching Classical Chines.
