An Experimental Study Of The Effect Of Unintentional Blindness On The Ability To Visualize A Hundred Meters

Studies have confirmed that the phenomenon of inattentional blindness is widespread.At present,there are more researches on the significance of the stimulus,the cognitive load,at the same time also includes the study of the contents of the memory.Study on inattentional blindness in many areas has been very mature,such as biology has done many study the neural mechanism of it,through the study of traffic signs and traffic related signals in the traffic field,so as to reduce the incidence rate of traffic accident,and in the athletic field research on inattentional blindness is less.At present,there are a lot of paradigms in the study of inattentional blindness,and we have solved many practical problems on the basis of these paradigms.In orienteering,the ability of directional mapping is more to test the ability of participants to observe the visual attention,so in many cases prone to visual blindness,the experiment by drawing on the previous significant expectations on the stimulus(color,position,shape,etc.)and cognitive load on inattentional blindness,combined with a previous study of orienteering easy under the influence of psychological factors,so as to use inattentional blindness phenomenon to explain some phenomena of orienteering,and explore the impact factors of blindness in the orienteering competitions,as well as the influence of of blindness to directional map reading results.Because the direction of 100 meters compared to other oriented projects with a more flexible,more convenient features,but also more psychological quality and test the quality of attention,so the experiment uses 100 meters directional map.In this study,64 individuals were randomly selected from undergraduate and graduate students by random sampling,and the experimental study was carried out after the control of the irrelevant variables.Each participant will cycle several related experiments,all the experiments are carried out under the indoor conditions,so inattentional blindness and 100 meters directional mapping results of the experiment will not be subject to physical and athletic skills,reduce the influence of irrelevantvariables on the experimental results.Because the game people are always in the movement,so the dynamic blindness paradigm can better simulate the game,can better reflect the ecological significance.Through the study found that in case of inattentional blindness,girls are more likely than boys to appear the phenomenon of blindness,ordinary than sports group is easier to appear the phenomenon of blindness,the differences between the groups may be because the Orienteering Training reduces the subjects of inattentional blindness,and may be the effect of inattentional blindness on Orienteering and orienteering was also able to react on inattentional blindness;In the experimental study,the stimulus appeared in the position of the edge or the characteristics of non-expected stimulus is not significant,indeed caused many subjects to produce inattentional blindness,which is consistent with previous studies.Through the linear regression analysis of visual blindness and mapping results find that the degree of blindness and mapping results linearly,low degree of blindness of subjects in the directional orienteering mapping achievements do better.
