With the practice of the New Curriculum Reform,the reform of the teaching method is more and more acceptable.So the mathematical inquiry teaching attracts more and more math educators’ attentions.However,there is few practical curriculum about the mathematical inquiry teaching.Our country has advocated that the science technology and the course teaching should be combined together in recent years,so many dynamical software are applied to the math teaching to aid the course teachings.Especially the geometer sketchpad are widely used because of its powerful mathematical function,simple operation and the popularization carried out by the National Computer Education Center.The geometer sketchpad attracts a lot of followers and provides a good chance for developing mathematical inquiry teaching.So the author combined the geometer sketchpad with the mathematical inquiry teaching,and carried out the research,based on the geometer sketchpad,on the junior schools’ mathematical inquiry teachings.The thesis was based on the geometer sketchpad to explore the junior schools’ mathematical inquiry teachings.The main research methods of this thesis were document research,case analysis,etc.First,the author settled the relevant theory of the mathematical inquiry teaching and the fountains and characteristics of the geometer sketchpad’ s usages in junior schools’ teachings.Then the author pointed out the principles of selecting teaching materials and elected the suitable contents of geometer sketchpad teaching through analyzing compulsory education mathematics curriculum standard.The author established 2 kinds of general process of junior schools’ mathematical inquiry teaching through combining the background of geometer sketchpad with the features of inquiry teaching.And the author also explored the patterns suiting the geometer sketchpad: synthesizing the practice teaching pattern with the in-class questioning teaching pattern,explaining every teaching link of the teaching pattern in details and putting forward the strategies and suggestions on how to develop the mathematical inquiry teachings.Then the author developed some teaching cases based on the designed teaching patterns.The main results of the study were the following 3 parts: 1.Finding out the junior schools’ teaching contents based on the geometer sketchpad.2: The construction of the theory of the mathematical inquiry process.The author put more attention to the overall processes of the activities of the inquiry teaching,put forward the different teaching patterns and leaning processes that suit different kinds of inquiry learning classes in the background of the geometer sketchpad,and the author also focused on the effects of raising questions in inquiry learning and applied “Negative Strategies” to raise the students abilities of raising questions.3.Designing some typical teaching cases for others to use according to the inquiry teaching pattern and the application of the negative strategies.
