Research On The Factors Influencing The Topic Selection Of Master's Thesis In Education

In recent years,the number of graduate students in our country has been increasing,and the quality of education in graduate school has been on the cusp of higher education research.It's a hot spot for social attention.The quality of graduate thesis is directly reflected in the quality of graduate education,and academics are getting moe and more research on this.And the topic selection of graduate thesis is the primary part of graduate thesis.There is no research on which factors influence the topic selection of degree thesis of master of education graduate student,and whether the master of education in different types of universities have the same considerations.This study through literature review,open questionnaire and interview method to explore determines the influence factors of graduate dissertation topic.And on the basis,editing the questionnaire,which is factors influencing the academic dissertation topic selection of pedagogy postgraduate.537 graduate students of sophomore and third grade in three types of universities participated,and the data was studied and analyzed.The three types of universities are 985?211 and common colleges,A total of 9.The result suggests that,firstly,graduate students themselves,the tutor and some objective factors influence of pedagogy postgraduate degree thesis topic selection.Graduate students themselves mainly including professional knowledge,learning,research methods,research interest,look forward to it,undergraduate learning experience and employment direction,the seven factors.The tutor aspect mainly includes the tutor's research interest,research direction and the mentor's guide at ordinary times and his expectation,the four factors.The objective aspect mainly includes the feasibility of the selected topic,novelty,data collection,literature,the research significance,the research heat,the six factors.Secondly,the influence degree of various factors on the graduate student degree thesis topic selection is different.The top six factors is feasibility of topic selection,data collection,their own interests and hobbies,research methods,literature and the tutor guidance.Thirdly,the influence degree of the three factors for three types of colleges and universities graduate students' dissertation topic selection is different.In comparison,in 985 universities,graduate students more considering the factors of the instructor.In 211 universities,graduate students more considering the factors of themselves,and ordinary universities graduate students more affected by objective factors.
