Process evaluation is a kind of evaluation strategy matched with blended learning.The relation between the two above could be summarized as the following two aspects:the effect of blended learning need to be measured by the process evaluation index,while process evaluation is the best way to evaluate effective blended learning.The fourth generation evaluation theory,distributed cognitive theory as well as deep learning theory provide theoretical basis for process evaluation model and blended learning model.Based on three important theories,process evaluation and blended learning become clearer.The construction of process evaluation model follows the following logical path:The learner plays the main role of the process evaluation and all the stakeholders participate.Evaluation includes motivation,process,effect and the relationship among the three elements above.The purpose of evaluation is to optimize the learning process and realize the development of quality.Operational definition is the foundation of conduct behavioral assumptions.Project reference frame of process evaluation is established later,which includes three dimension,they’re learning motivation,learning process as well as learning resources.Then each dimension is decomposed into primary index and secondary indexes.Based on the operational definition of each secondary index,a process evaluation model is provided.Online resources and offline communication support mixed learning together,which is a flexible learning method combining network environment and classroom environment.It also combines learning analysis,learning practice and learning integration in order to achieve the best learning results.Similarly,operational definition is the foundation of conduct behavioral assumptions.Structural frame of reference of blended learning is established later,which includes three dimension,they’re combines learning analysis,learning practice and learning integration.Then each dimension is decomposed into primary index and secondary indexes.Based on the operational definition of each secondary index,a blended learning model is provided.Through observing and analyzing the implementation of blended learning’s evaluation in real situation,it seems to be the practical basis for the strategy.After one-semester observation and interviews for three different ability learners,compared the results with process evaluation model,the following four problems were found:including the evaluation time,evaluation content,evaluation participants and evaluation methods.Compared the results with blended learning model,the following three problems of the present blended learning were found:insufficient initial analysis,inefficient learning process,poor overall learning effect.All of those suffer complex causes.The main reasons for the problems are the following four aspects:teachers’ concepts,teachers’ behavior,students’ concepts and students’ behavior.Therefore,the following four strategies are put forward from a macro perspective:teachers’ concepts change strategy,teachers’ behavior change strategy,students’ concepts change strategy and students’ behavior change strategy. |
