High School Physics Teaching Design Research Based On Case Teaching Method

With the popularization of quality education and the new physics curriculum reform,the educational concept of "changing the focus on knowledge orientation before,strengthening the combination of theory and practice "and" promoting students' all-round development,focus on the cultivation of students' abilities " has already come into people's hearts,traditional teaching methods can not adapt to the trend of the times.As one of the important methods of linking theory and practice in recent years,the case teaching method has aroused strong concern of scholars on education in China,the biggest characteristics of the case teaching method is that it brings life examples to the classroom,connecting the theory with practice,to mobilize students'interests on learning and focus on training plural abilities with "problem solving ability".At the same time,the physics teachers who use the case teaching method also need great wisdom of education and higher ability of writing teaching cases.Besides,This process is in favor for teachers' teaching skills and self growth.Therefore,the practice of case teaching method in high school physics both for students and teachers are of great significance.Through consulting literature materials,this paper analysised the background of case teaching method and teaching design in theory,the related concept of the case teaching theory,the general process of case teaching,the teaching method of the similar distinction;also the connotation of teaching design and teaching design mode in common.According to the teaching practice,the author carried on the feasibility study of case teaching mathod in high school physics class via students' questionnaire and teacher interview.Result shows that:(1)high school students showed great interests on physics case;(2)teaching hardware facilities is excellent;(3)teachers demonstrate good teaching quality.In all,case teaching method has the feasibility conditions.Meanwhile,we also found that case teaching method can well solve several current problems in the high school physics class:(1)students physical life consciousness should be strengthened;(2)many students' study habits need to be improved,students are lack of learning initiative;(3)role confusion in the classroom,students' subjectivity is unknown;(4)the classroom effective participation is low,class is lack of substantive interaction.Then,the author integrated the characteristics of the case teaching method and teaching design characteristics,creatively put forward the general process of high school physics teaching design based on case teaching method,the process is divided into three stages:the design of preparation work,the design of classroom implementatione and the design of evaluation and feedback.Concretely,the design of the preparatory work including the analysis of many teaching factors such as teaching environments,teaching object,teaching target and so on;the design of classroom implementatione focuses on the process of case teaching method:case presentation,case discussion,case summary;the design of evaluation and feedback centers around two aspects:the evaluation of teachers and students.Next,the author put the teaching design flow based on case teaching method into teaching practice.Take the high school physics compulsory 2 "gravitation and space" as an example to carry on the teaching design and classroom practice in the new class teaching of the concept and the law—"planetary motion".This paper also gives a brief teaching design and analysis of the course of "the law of gravity" and "the theory of gravity and space".Finally,the author summarizes and reflects the research initial results and puts forward the prospect of the research on the high school physics teaching design based on case teaching method.
