Our country’s economic development has entered a new stage,the tourism industry has quickly become a pillar industry for economic development,and the demand and requirements for tourism industry have increased hugely.The tourism major of secondary vocational education aims at cultivating high quality and application oriented talents required by the tourism industry,which has become an important source of transporting tourism talents.Among them,the teaching of core skills courses in the tourism major is an important way to improve the professional skills and quality of tourism talents.Taking "Tour Guide Practice" as an example,its teaching method urgently needs to be reformed to meet the needs of the tourism industry.Based on this,questionnaires were issued to students majoring in tourism in secondary vocational schools and interviews were conducted with front-line teachers.It was found that most of the tourism majors in secondary vocational colleges currently have old teaching methods,incomplete teaching facilities,and low teaching quality.Students’ learning ability,self-learning awareness,and classroom participation all need to be improved,which lag behind the mainstream requirements of the development of secondary vocational education in our country.Although the reform of secondary vocational education has been unfolding,and there have been many new attempts on teaching methods and teaching evaluation methods,the results have been limited.Among them,the problematic,contextual and practical nature of the case teaching method focuses on cultivating students’ practical problem-solving ability,which is naturally compatible with the demand for talents in the tourism industry,and has attracted widespread attention and practical applications.However,in the application process of case teaching,some selected teaching cases have poor adaptability and cannot attract students’ attention;students’ ability to analyze and understand cases is not enough,and classroom teaching efficiency is low;the teaching environment is not enough to support the implementation of case teaching,etc.problem.In response to these problems,this article adopts a case study method,combined with questionnaire survey method,interview method,document analysis method,etc.,taking the secondary vocational tourism professional skills course "Tourism Practice" as an example,in C secondary vocational and tourism professional two classes Of students conduct case teaching research in the field.Carry out case teaching design and teaching practice in five aspects: formulating teaching goals,selecting or developing teaching cases,urging students to preview cases,designing case teaching process,timely evaluation and reflection,etc.,in order to be a professional teacher of tourism in secondary vocational schools application case teaching provides ideas and references.Finally,combination objective performance evaluation and satisfaction evaluation adopted for the application effect.The satisfaction survey was conducted from four dimensions of course expectations,classroom teaching quality,classroom fairness,and overall satisfaction,to fully understand the satisfaction of students in the application of case teaching to the teaching of "Tour Guide Practice",which changed the single teaching evaluation method and enriched the perspective of teaching evaluation for tourism in secondary vocational schools and further enriched the connotation of the combination of process evaluation and summative evaluation.After statistical analysis with the help of SPSS and smart Pls3.0 for satisfaction modeling analysis,it is concluded that secondary vocational students have basically satisfied above attitudes towards the teaching of the application case of "Tour Guide Practice".In the process of case teaching,the problems of secondary vocational students’ lack of independent learning ability,old teaching cases,the teaching environment need to be improved,and the single choice of teaching methods have emerged.In response to the problems that arise,propose a rich library of teaching cases related to tourism,promote teachers’ professional growth,professional teachers’ in-depth industry practice,root in the development needs of the tourism industry,improve the teaching environment,establish a true "smart classroom" and multiple choices,in order to improve the quality of classroom teaching.So use points to promote the area,expand into the teaching reform of secondary vocational tourism professional skills courses,improve the quality of training applied talents in secondary vocational tourism majors,and realize the seamless connection between tourism industry development and tourism professional education,to promote the quality of secondary vocational education and the development of the tourism industry. |
