With the advancing of new curriculum reform,the development and application of curriculum resource in education has become a hot word.Which bring forward higher requirements on our teachers that we should explore and enrich the art curriculum resources to improve the current situation of art curriculum resources.regional cultural resources which come from students' hometown is the key to deal with this problem.Guangxi is a minority autonomous region inhabited by many ethnic minorities,of which Zhuang Zu is the majority,and has many unique and valueble national cultural resources.As the provincial capital of Guangxi,Nanning has many historical sites,traditional cultures and customs.Which has laid a solid foundation for the exploitation of curriculum resource.Used properly it can make great contribute to the Core Competencies and Values for Chinese Students' Development.This paper takes some high school in Nanning as examples to explore the application of regional cultural resources in art courses.The article is mainly divided into Introduction and four chapters.The Introduction part elaborated the background of the selected topic,the research significance,and research methods.The first chapter is an overview of related concepts of curriculum resources.Based on these concepts,some regional cultural resources in Nanning were selected.In the second chapter,the author investigates the teachers and students of the three schools on the present situation of the development and application of regional cultural resources in Nanning high school art curriculum by means of questionnaire,interview,etc.And analyzed the results.The third chapter is the author's attempt at the Core Competencies of Art in class.Including the relevant circumstances of it and the training methods.The fourth chapter lists the three teaching records that the author attempts to apply the regional culture resources.
