Feminism is from the concept of the western feminist movement. It can also be translated as "women's doctrine", " OperationMatriarchy". The word originally formed in France at the end of the nineteenth Century (French for feminisme), first proposed by the Frenchwoman Auclert (Hubertine Auclert), who was in the fight for women's suffrage movement, founded the first mouthpiece of advocated women's suffrage " La Cito yenne ", means women's social equality and personality liberation. Later, Spreading to Britain and the United States, and gradually popular, referring to advocate equality between men and women of various thoughts in developed countries in Europe and America, the thought of it, rooted in the women's liberation struggle in the early 20th century, so has a distinctly western upper-class women and strong political color. So it was translated as "feminist", can also be translated as " OperationMatriarchy" or "movement for equality between men and women", etc.This article Uses the comparison method, the literature study method and the synthetic method to explore the difference and connection between eastern and western feminism and discuss the evolution process of feminism in China. This paper attempts to explore the difference and connection between eastern and western feminism, feminism in China's evolution process, as well as the practice and development of feminism in China, to reveal the influence of feminism on all aspects of Chinese society, to point out the current status of different levels of the women in China, to warn people to treat women right, and to build a real harmonious society of gender equality. We can find out the status of women both in the world and in China is rising gradually, and improving constantly from the study of this article, this is also the objective laws of social development and the expression of the human social progress. However, whether from the aspect of state and government, or the mass media as well as women's own level, understanding, research and development of women, is a long way to go.
