Mathematics is a natural discipline,is the key to open all mysteries.The stage of basic education,mathematics has been to "main subject" status.Under the current college entrance examination system in Jiangsu Province,the importance of mathematics is more prominent.College entrance examination in Jiangsu province,mathematics 160 points,chinese 160 points,foreign language 120 points,science mathematics additional questions 40 points,liberal arts chinese additional questions 40 points.As a high school mathematics teacher,to give full play to the role of mathematical modeling,improve students' mathematical achievements and mathematical literacy,so that students learn mathematics as a fun.In teaching into mathematical modeling can improve the students' interest in learning,culture is not afraid of hardship,courage to overcome the difficulties of strong will,self-discipline and excellent quality of unity,promote students' awareness of application,training correct conception of mathematics.Our school is a rural senior middle school,students' mathematics foundation is weak.Through the questionnaire survey,it is found that most students are interested in mathematical modeling,and can promote their learning of mathematics and other courses."General high school mathematics curriculum standards" in the requirements of high school students to carry out at least a mathematical modeling activities.The main problems of this study are as following: the current situation of rural senior high school students' mathematical modeling under the current college entrance examination system in Jiangsu province.This study mainly in Jiangsu Province Danyang City Er Ling senior high school grade two students as the research object,modeling level of students of different selection,difficult to form reason analysis,and provide some reference for the rural high school mathematics modeling teaching.This study is divided into 6 parts: 1 introduction is the part of the problem,the paper analyzes the background of the topic,the purpose of the study,research significance,research questions,research methods.2 literature review section,gives the concept of mathematical modeling,and describes the development of mathematical modeling at home and abroad.3 Jiangsu province rural high school mathematics modeling teaching and learning status,the teachers and students were conducted a questionnaire survey,and analysis of the results of the questionnaire,summary of the causes of the problem.4 high school textbooks(Jiangsu Education Edition)in mathematical modeling thought penetration and analysis questions.Analysis of high school mathematics(Jiangsu Education Edition)penetration of modeling in the textbooks of compulsory modules.5 mathematical modeling teaching experiment and operation by the experimental analysis of student modeling level and on senior high school students of mathematics modeling entry test(or mathematical contest in modeling)and to analyze the modeling level differences of male and female students,and several examples of typical cases.6 conclusions and suggestions,the rural high school students' modeling awareness is weak,there are obvious differences between different classes,the differences between men and women.According to the conclusion,the paper gives some suggestions for the development of mathematical modeling in rural senior high schools,and puts forward some deficiencies in the research.
