Literacy teaching is an important part of primary school language teaching, at the same time, literacy teaching is also the focus and difficulty of the lower grade language teaching. But at present, there are many problems to be solved in the elementary school’s low grade literacy teaching. How to improve the students’ interest and efficiency in learning Chinese characters is an important subject for many years. This paper tries to focus grasp situational teaching method in the elementary school lower grade literacy teaching strategies, let students real on literacy interest, active, easy to read and the majority of primary school language teachers in the elementary school lower grade literacy teaching practice to provide a reference. Paper use literature method, survey method, observation method and case analysis method, analysis the elementary school lower grade students’ literacy problems, mainly: in low segment of literacy amount is large, heavy burden; students typos serious; literacy teaching methods, a single boring and ignore interest; teachers ignore the teaching of literacy. Analysis of the situational teaching method in the elementary school lower grade Chinese literacy teaching value, mainly have: to stimulate interest in students to read, to reduce the burden of learning; to help students accurately memorizing vocabulary increased interest in literacy teaching and improve the efficiency of the classroom. Put forward the application strategy of situational teaching method in the teaching of literacy in the elementary school lower grade, mainly has: situational creation story, literate in the story experience; creating life situation, literacy in the experience; creation of game scenario, literate in the play; creating anagrams situation, in a series of puzzles in literacy; to create the situation of body, in the fancy literacy; create associative context, in imagination literacy.
