We put forward higher requirements for people's quality in the twenty-first century which is the information age and the era of knowledge economy. We must reform the education in order to develop high quality socialist builders who adapt to the times. The new curricular reform can develop various kinds of abilities of senior students,improve their comprehensive quality and promote their integrated development. The new curricular reform of classroom teaching methods can we really carry out quality education.The five step three check teaching method is based on the classroom teaching mode of national teacher training autonomous learning opportunities for students and conforms to the idea of quality education. It is beneficial to students to improve their sense of inquiry and cooperation and develop their learning ability.I research and use the theory combining the teaching method with the politics of high school according to my teaching practice. The main contents include: Part one: An overview of the five step three check teaching method, in which the concept, characteristics and connotation of it are included. Part two: The significance of the use the five step three check teaching method in politics in senior high school. It is applied to the ideological and political course, comprehensively summarized and classified to form the rational knowledge of using it in theory. In practice, it is of benefit in reforming teaching methods and improving teaching effectiveness. Part three: The five step three check teaching method is used in politics in high school. We use the actual cases to explain the method, analyzing problems and improving suggestions in the process of using it.
