Sergey Sergeyevich Prokofiev(1891-1953)was one of the most famous and great composers of the 20 th century.His work not only reflects his inheritance of the style of classicism,but also He embodied his unique creative tactics,both distinctive Russian style and outstanding personal style.During Prokofiev's creative career,he created a total of more than 130 stage works and instrumental works.The scope of his creation includes a wide range of operas,wind instruments,vocal music,piano and string music.Piano works account for a large proportion of them.Although his work was controversial at the time,he was left out and rejected.However,he resisted rumors and insisted on his own unique style of creation.Prokofiev's piano sonatas and piano concertos have been extensively analyzed and studied,but there has been relatively little research on piano sketches.This article begins with Prokofiev's early piano sketch “The Four Essays” Op.4's creation techniques and performance points,and explores the unique style in which his creative works and traditions and innovations are combined to better understand this.The music content of the first work more accurately presents this work.
