Seregy Prokofiev, one of the most important composers in twentieth century. There are nine piano sonatas in his output, among which, the"Third Sonata"is unique as its single-movement structure. By using his unique composing technique and musical expression, the composer brings his inner world outThe main focus of this thesis is to analysis the composing technique of "the Third Sonata". The conclusion lie on three important aspects, which are creative composing idea, Russian national style, and personal expression.Based on one's study and performance of the"Third Sonata", one does the playing technique analysis mainly on the"percussive"and singing lyric passage playing method, etc., such key performance points.
