This study is based on the history of the Drukpa School in Bhutan from 12 th to 17 th century.On the basis of many relevant domestic and foreign historical materials and absorbing the existing research achievements of the academic circles,this paper systematically combs the progress of the Bhagavadians' introduction to Bhutan and gradually constructs the Bhutanese state.Bhutan is located in the southern foot of the Himalayas,since ancient times has a special karma with Tibet.Bhutan is the only country practicing Vajray?na in this world.Drukpa Kagyu is Bhutan's state religion.Drukpa Kagyu is an important school of Tibetan Buddhism still exists.Despite the fact that the history of Drukpa Kagyu is widely spread in Tibet but never grasp the local regime,however in Bhutan formed a political and religious unity and influence so far.Bhutan is known in Tibetan language as “Druk Yul”,Bhutanese claim to be Drukpa,from this we can see the impact of Drukpa Kagyu on Bhutan society wide and far-reaching,so that Bhutan has its unique cultural foundation.The study of the history of Drukpa Kagyu is not only an important part of the study of the history of Tibetan Buddhism,but also the focus of the study of the history of Bhutan.The research topic of this thesis is based on Bhutan as a special case,and the historical development of Drukpa Kagyu Bhutan is studied and sorted out from 12 th to 17 th centuries.For the diffussion of the Tibetan Buddhism and the relevant research of the formantion of the Himalayan Buddhist culture circle is of great significance.
