This paper attempts to discuss the topics that we all have a sense of in common language,for the works we are facing with,the only way to display their significance is to uncover the hidden information through the real context as much as possible,which is also enhance the possibility of being close to the objects and deepening the understanding.In the summary of the first chapter,the author describes some phenomena in Chinese contemporary art,and puts forward the questions of "what is the contemporary" and the limitations caused by various reasons after localization.In our important blueprint--the history of Western art,the author finds out the intellectual history demand for the existence of each artist,and analyzes the historical reasons and ideological foundation of Western art's growing to science and self-discipline.Through the transformation of Duchamp's interpretation of the important node of contemporary art to revolutionary narration of artistic cognition,the author makes the importance of artists and the cognitive mists caused by spectacle society clear from the perspectives of discourse,legislation and interpretation.As a separate set of cognitive system,every single one of us should be curious about the history of things around us,because they are the sources of all our ideas.The mentioned curiosity is even more important for persons who are engaged in artistic practice,for it is the foothold of all ideas.Therefore,the main purpose of this article lies in the self-positioning and reflection of art itself,so as to clarify some of the issues.
