A Research On Duchamp

Marcel Duchamp, one of the most influential artists in the 20th century.As a legend figure in western art history, he is the only artist inscrolled in art history who upholds the slogan of anti-art. But, up till now the opinion about Marcel Duchamp in art circle is quite different. If we have an impersonal review of Marcel Duchamp's art and thought it will be enlightening for us to understand western modern art.This text are discussed in three aspects : Its one, The art career of Marcel Duchamp: His growth background and growth phases are discussed. I will elaborate the two big reasons which make Duchamp successed in the growth environment :1. External factor: Big social history background and big social environment influence. 2. Internal cause: Home environment influence. I will analyzed briefly the growth phases which have three important changes in his life: study period—cubism period—anti-art period. The art career of Marcel Duchamp is an entrance which we understands Duchamp ,and also a jumping-off point which the text discuss Duchamp from advocating art to opposing art. Its two, Marcel Duchamp's thoughts and their exhibitions.
