The documentary“Diary in Country”focuses on three families which live in Xinyuan Village located in Hubei Province Jinghou city.Among of them,there are some sick remained elder,and some innocent left behind children,and some back-homed migrant youth workers.The documentary“Diary in Country”used calm and objective narrative style to recorded the daily life of the people in Xinyuan Village,such as farming,seeing the doctors,and chatting,recording the real living condition of the villagers in Xinyuan Village.The author hopes that the documentary"Diary in Country" could draw public attention about the the development of contemporary rural areas,the health problem of the remained elder,and the educational problem of the left behind children in the contemporary rural areas.This documentary is composed of three parts,the first part narrates the daily life of the remained elder,in the second part,it' s about the life of the left behind children,such as the life in the village,and their school life.The third part is about the family accident of aunts Hu.The documentary "Diary in Country" belongs to the declarative documentary,uing the nonfiction shots taken and small amount of commentary to records and reveals the living condition of the contemporary farmers.
