With the rapid development of the economy,the phenomenon of left-behind children has been increasingly becoming the major issues about the development of the nation,but the filming and dissemination of the documentary about left-behind children have played a tremendous role in promoting this problem to be solved.As a result of the limitation of policy and market conditions,most excellent documentaries about left-behind children were released abroad,they had little chance to be showed in public and many of the remaining were immature;At the same time,the academic circles for its research are very rare,they lacks a good development environment in our country.By consulting the relevant literature of left-behind children,watching some documentary on left-behind children subjects matter,this article focus on analyzing several excellent documentaries about left-behind children systematically,to explore the status quo of the development of documentary about left-behind children and its own characteristics.Through the comparative analysis of works,studies how to show the left-behind children groups and convey emotion by the lens.At the same time,through the study of it can cause the reflection of ideology,system,etc about Chinese people.
