| Worked example learning is an important way of teaching and self-learning.Single content-samples and double-content samples are emerging examples of the type of division,has gradually become the focus of attention of researchers.The single and double-content worked examples are divided according to the content of the example.Single-content sample is an example that contains only one content,such as concepts,principles,and rules;Double-content sample contains two kinds of content,namely,exemplifying domain knowledge and learninge domain knowledge.These two examples have different characteristics and applicable areas of study.The purpose of this study is to reveal the effect of single and double-content examples on different learning contents by comparing the learning effects of these two examplestypes and their different combinations.In the first experiment,two examples of single-content and double content examples of linear equation with one unknown were studied by two groups of homogeneous subjects The subjects were 60 fifth-grade students in an ordinary primary school.The experimental results show thateffects of single-content examples on learning the rules of linear equation with one unknown were obviously better than the effects of double-content examples.In the second experiment,three groups of homogeneous subjects were used to study the double-content,the combination of single-content and double-content examples and the combination of double-content and single-content examples of linear equation with one unknown.The subjects were 90 fifth-grade students in an ordinary primary school in a city.Results show that,compared with the double-content samples,students who learned the combination of single-content and double-content examples and the combination of double-content and single-content examples scored higher on the rules and application of linear equation with one unknown. |
