With the continuous improvement of China's nation power,and the continuous improvement of its economic strength,more and more foreigners come to China to study,work,and live.Yet,they still face language barriers,and it is the greatest challenge they face while they are learning and living in China.Additionally,ways to learn Chinese is not easy for them especially in today's Internet-based era compromised of large databases,and the rapid delivery of information.In every living moment,there is always a considerable amount of information available on the internet.Ways to efficiently deal with such Chinese information for foreigners is not a simple issue.In recent years,reading and teaching methods in teaching Chinese as a foreign language has always been a difficult point in teaching Chinese as a second language,and this deserves more attention when teachers teach Chinese as a foreign language.Presently,there are few studies or textbooks for juniors to read,and,if available,texts mainly focus on comprehensive teaching(reading and writing skills),rather than promote oral skills.These two textbooks as mentioned in the thesis,the domestic universities and overseas Confucius Institute,or Confucius Classroom,has been widely used as teaching material." HSK Standard Course 4" conducts a detailed study of the preparation of teaching materials put forward in a personal point of view,and for junior level learners,Chinese reading textbook users make a reasonable proposal.This paper is divided into five chapters,the main contents of each chapter are as follows:The first chapter is the introduction.It mainly includes the origin of the topic itself,the significance of the topic's selection,the modeling and classification of the related research,and the brief introduction of research ideas and methods.The second chapter is the analysis of requirements that many learners have.Data was collected in the form of a questionnaire,analyzed and processed.The third chapter is a comprehensive study of the design of the HSK Standard Course 4,its overall structure,unit settings,degree of difficulty set for vocabularies and the test itself,the skill training design,and so on.The fourth chapter is a comprehensive analysis of the textbooks,combined with the results of a survey conducted by learners on the overall evaluation of teaching materials.It also provided results of the assessment analysis,the learner's feedback from the questionnaire,and suggestions for the preparation and use of teaching materials for junior learners who are learning Chinese as a foreign language.The fifth chapter is the study of some objective reasons,which summarizes the experience and my reflection on some achievements and shortcomings in the process of writing articles.
