| The textbooks for reading newspapers and periodicals in Chinese as a foreign language are the main materials for foreign students to learn news style.By learning vocabulary,sentence patterns,and chapters with the characteristics of news style,they can master news reading skills and methods.Therefore,whether the selection of textbooks can reflect the characteristics of news style will directly affect the teaching effect.This paper investigates the textbook "(New Edition)Reading Newspapers,Learning Chinese" from the three levels of news feature words,feature sentences and chapters.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The occurrence of news feature words increases with the level of the textbook;The proportion of textbooks is the highest,and the proportion of quasi-advanced textbooks is the lowest;(2)The textbooks have set up sections of "long sentences in newspapers and periodicals" and "small knowledge of reading newspapers" to analyze the news feature sentences,but some common news feature words are not annotated and analyzed.(3)The "five-degree marking method" was used for marking,and it was found that the news style characteristics of the selected texts in the textbooks were mostly grades 3 and 4.(4)The selected texts can reflect the typical structural characteristics of “the front is heavy and the latter is light” and the characteristics of news headlines generalizing the gist in the discourse structure,but the overall timeliness is not significant enough;The higher the feature level.Finally,the author tries to put forward some suggestions for teaching materials. |
