Ancient Miao Songs Ancient Song of Luo Du was included in the intangible cultural heritage in Sichuan Province in 2007,which is known as the Miao's "living fossil." Ancient Miao songs is not based on a single,a solidified form since ancient times,it is the expression of the Miao people living state ideology. Its unique cultural and religious beliefs reflect the living state. No text Hmong society is by means of ancient songs to their unique cultural heritage. Ancient Miao Songs infiltrated into the life of weddings?funeral and other ceremonies,so that they have to accept and learn it. Now Miao people is undergoing the social transformation. The challenge to the traditional culture,the values of pluralism and many other factors contributed Miao ancient songs inheritance to the trouble, what's worse we are facing the danger of the songs extinction. The older generation want to teach the young people, but the young are not interested in it,which brought unprecedented challenges to the Miao ancient songs.Government and those who love the Miao ancient songs had took various measures such as audio,video,recorded as text to rescue and protect them are effective,but it ignored the openness of Miao ancient songs "text",a variety of meanings,sung by context. Productive protection in intangible cultural heritage is important and feasible, but the Miao ancient song once out of the traditional cultures,we can't expect it can keep its original social function. Finally,the author suggested that we should take effective measures to find the way to keep ancient Miao ancient songs social functions by new media in modern society. only in this way,the Miao ancient songs could really survive.
