Time adverb occupies a large proportion in modern Chinese adverbs,playing an important role in the Chinese semantic expression.Chinese “on state ”time adverb usage complex,appear errors grammar points,higher frequency to international students and outline of teaching Chinese as a foreign language requires mastery of grammar points.After learning them,students can appear all sorts of errors in the process of using and understanding their structure,semantic and pragmatic.By consulting literature materials,it is easy to find this kind of words in English as predicate frequency higher and the usage is relatively single.The Chinese “on state” time adverb is usually used as adverbs in communication,and the usage is relatively complex.Therefore,native English speakers will be influenced by native language factors.At the same time,“on state ”time adverb “zheng”?“zai”?“zheng zai” is Chinese expression “doing” and “continue” important grammar means,based on these above points in this paper.The application of time “state” adverbs in teaching Chinese as a foreign language is studied.This article selects the “state” time adverbs “zheng”?“zai”?“zheng zai” as the research objects,with native English speakers acquisition errors of this kind of adverbs.Through the “state” time adverbs ontology research,second language acquisition research and research in teaching Chinese as a foreign language,according to the theory of comparative analysis,errors analysis theory as the instruction,this article of the collected literature is from Beijing Language and Culture University HSK dynamic composition corpus,compositions of students and the conversation from daily life to summarizes error types.And then from the three aspects “structure,semantic,and pragmatic” comparison research,the article summarizes the error reasons,puts forward some countermeasures for teaching and give teaching designs.
