Sibelius's Study On The Structure Of The Third Symphony

Sibelius was a central figure in the Finnish music at the end of the 19 th century and the beginning of 20 th century. From 1904 to 1907 creation in C major the "Third Symphony" was the Sibelius leading to the declaration of "modern classicism" stage and its creative approach and first two symphonies have different, with classical simple and streamlined style. This thesis tries to structure "Third Symphony" was studied and discussed deeply as far as possible.This paper is divided into five parts: introduction, the first chapter, the second chapter, the third chapter and the conclusion.The introduction part briefly introduces the transformation of Sibelius' s career and "Third Symphony" writing techniques and style. The first to the third chapter respectively to "Derived structure on the topic" and "Continuous tone throughout the texture structure" and " The variant structure of musical form ",as the key link system discusses the three main characteristics of Sibelius' s Symphony No. 3 structure,the conclusion part summarizes the above three chapters, and reflects the great composer flexible and free way of thinking, and reflected a master, the pursuit of balance of creative ideas.
