Modal particle teaching is one of the important and difficult parts in teaching Chinese as a second language. Foreign students often have a variety of unexpected problems in the use of modal particles. In this paper, the writer selects two typical modal particles “Ne” and “Ma” as the research object, applying the method of comparative analysis to research the modal particles “Ne” and “Ma”. During the grammatical meaning analysis of the modal particles “Ne” and “Ma”, the writer combines the research body performance and the Chinese Proficiency Guideline and Grammatical Syllabus(hereafter called the “Outline”) and the textbook Development Chinese(the Second Edition) together to have comprehensive analysis, hoping this will have more help to the specific research of teaching foreigners Chinese. Meanwhile, the writer combines the dynamic composition Corpus-HSK, analyzing the mistakes and reasons of foreign students during the process of using the two modal participles “Ne” and “Ma”, proposing some suggestions on teaching modal particles such as “Ne” and “Ma”, and thus contributes to the development of teaching foreigners modal particles and at the same time, the work of teaching foreigners Chinese can be better carried out.The paper is divided into five parts. In the Introduction, the writer makes a description about the value of researching the modal particles “Ne and Ma” in teaching Chinese as a second language and then, she introduces the current study of modal particles“Ne” and “Ma” in Modern Chinese Grammar system and teaching foreigners Chinese respectively. In Chapter One, the writer makes grammatical analysis from the perspectives of modern Chinese grammar knowledge, the request of modal particles “Ne and Ma” in foreign Chinese outline and the distribution of “Ne and Ma” in the text. In Chapter Two, the writer analyzes the mistake types caused by foreign students when they use "Ne" and "Ma", and then further analyzes the mistake causes, meanwhile, she emphasizes more on the mistaken use of “Ne and Ma”. In Chapter three, according to the above analysis, the writer makes thinking about the problems related to the modal particles “Ne and Ma” in teaching, and makes relevant recommendations from the aspects of updating the Outline and textbooks, exercise design, the quality of teachers and teaching methods so that it can make a little contribution to the foreigners Chinese teaching about modal particles “Ne ” and “Ma”. In conclusion, the writer makes a brief summary on the above research.
