Anxiety is one of the common negative emotions among teenagers.Without intervention,anxiety may further develop into anxiety disorder,which seriously affects the physiological,psychological and social functions of adolescents.This study explored the influence of parenting style on adolescent anxiety,and explored the chain mediating effect of peer attachment and psychological capital on parenting style and anxiety.This paper consisted of two studies: In the first study,self-rating scale of anxiety,parenting style scale,peer attachment questionnaire and positive psychological capital questionnaire were used to investigate students in five junior middle schools in Shanghai.530 questionnaires were distributed and recovered,among which 500 were valid.I used SPSS software to conduct Pearson correlation analysis and regression analysis on the collected data,aiming to explore the relationship between anxiety,parenting style,peer attachment and psychological capital,as well as the role of peer attachment and psychological capital in parenting style and anxiety;On this basis,12 junior high school students with low psychological capital and high anxiety were selected for the group intervention study on improving their psychological capital level.The research conclusions were as follows:(1)There were significant gender differences in parenting style and peer attachment: Male scored significantly lower than female on the "strictly supervised" parenting style.Male peer attachment scores were significantly lower than female peer attachment scores.(2)There were significant grade differences in family rearing style,peer attachment,psychological capital and anxiety: Grade 6,grade 7 and grade 9 had significantly higher "participation" scores than grade 8.Grade 6 and grade 9 had significantly higher "strict supervision" scores than grade 8.Grade 9 had significantly higher "psychological autonomy" scores than grade 6,grade 7 and grade 8.The level of peer attachment in grade 6 was significantly higher than that in grade 7,8 and 9.The psychological capital of grade 6 was significantly higher than that of grade 7,8 and 9,and the psychological capital of grade 7 and 9 was significantly higher than that of grade 8.The anxiety level in grade 6 was significantly higher than grade 7 and 9.(3)Peer attachment played a mediating role between parenting style and anxiety.Parenting style can not only directly affect the anxiety level of adolescents,but also indirectly affect the anxiety level through peer attachment.Psychological capital played an intermediary role between parenting style and anxiety.The way of family rearing can indirectly affect teenagers' anxiety through psychological capita.Peer attachment and psychological capital played a chain mediating role between parenting style and anxiety.Peer attachment and psychological capital can act as mediators between parenting style and anxiety alone.Peer attachment can influence the anxiety level of adolescents by influencing psychological capital.(4)Intervention studies had found that group counseling activities aimed at improving the psychological capital level can reduce junior high school students' anxiety level.This activity had a positive effect on improving teenagers' negative emotions and promoting their mental health.
