ObjectiveThe female college students with the angle of spine thoracolurnbar segment adjacent to vertebral body beyond the normal range in vertical plane or is not equal to 0 degree in the coronal plane were taken as the research object, through the measurement of the health Qigong and five-animalexercises(hereinafter referred to as five-animalexercises)intervention before and after, the Spinal vertebral angle in upright position, maximum anterio flexion position, maximum extension position, maximum left flexion position and maximum right flexion position, analysis of the changes of the physiological curvature and activity of the spine, explore the balance effect of five-animalexercises on female college students' spine,to provide scientific experimental basis for prevention and treatment of spinal diseases for five-animalexercises.MethodsThe 50 eligible subjects recruited were all senior students of the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine Dongfang College's acupuncture and moxibustion and massage. The subjects were randomly divided into experimental group and control group, the experimental group of five-animalexercises training, concentrated training for 2 weeks:5 times/week,60 minutes/time;counseling training for 6 weeks,5 times per week,40 minutes/time.The control group had no intervention measures and only participated in the test process parallel with the experimental group,so as to ensure the smooth progress of the experiment. Before and after the intervention,Spinalmouse spinal electronic measuring instrument was used to test the related indexes of spine in maximum anterior flexion position(F),upright position(U),maximum extension position(E),maximum left flexion position(L)and maximum right flexion position(R).Data obtained from the sagittal physiologic curvature of the spine(U),total flexion-extension activity(F-E),flexion activity(F-U),extension activity(E-U),physiological curvature of coronal spine(U),The total activity of the left flexion-right flexion(L-R),left flexion(L-U),right flexion(R-U).SPSS20.0 analysis was used to analyze the test data.Results1.Before the intervention of the left and right spinal flexion were compared, the left flexion of Thl/2-Th8/9 was significantly higher than that of the right flexion(P<0.001).The right flexion degree of Th12/L1-L5/S1 was significantly higher than that of left flexion(P<0.05).Lateral flexion difference = left flexion flexion-right lexion flexion,The difference of lateral flexion activity of Thl/2,Th3/4-L5/Sl was negatively correlated with the physiological curvature of the coronal upright spine.2.After intervention, compared with the control group, the degree of lateral curvature of Th2/3,Th12/L1,Ll/2 in the experimental group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The total activity of the left flexion-right flexion of Th6/7,Th10/11,L4/5 in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05),the left flexion activity of Th6/7,Thl0/11,L4/5,L5/S1 in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05),the right flexion activity of L5/S1 in the experimental group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05),the lateral flexion balance of Th2/3,L2/3,L4/5,L5/Sl in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The physiological curvature of the L1/2 sagittal plane in the test group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Total flexion-extension activity of Ll/2 in the test group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Total flexion-extension activity of L5/S1 in the test group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Flexion activity of Th6/7 in the test group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Flexion activity of L1/2 in the test group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Extension activity of Th5/7,Th6/7 in the test group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).3.Compared with before intervention, the degree of lateral curvature of Th2/3,Th6/7,Th7/8,Th8/9,Ll/2,L3/4,L4/5 was significantly lower in the post-intervention group than that before intervention(P<0.05).The total activity of the left flexion-right flexion of Th1/2,Th3/4,Th4/5,L5/S1 was significantly lower in the post-intervention group than that before intervention(P<0.05).The total activity of the left flexion-right flexion of Thl/2,Th3/4,Th4/5,L5/S1 was significantly lower in the post-intervention group than that before intervention(P<0.05).The total activity of the left flexion-right flexion of Th6/7 was significantly higher in the post-intervention group than that before intervention(P<0.05),the left flexion activity of Thl/2,Th3/4,Th5/6,Th7/8,Th8/9,Th9/10 was significantly lower in the post-intervention group than that before intervention(P<0.05).The left flexion activity of L3/4 was significantly higher in the post-intervention group than that before intervention(P<0.05).The right flexion activity of Th6/7,Th7/8 was significantly higher in the post-intervention group than that before intervention(P<0.05).The right flexion activity of L2/3,L4/5,L5/S1 was significantly lower in the post-intervention intervention(P<0.05),the physiological curvature of Th3/4,Th10/11 was significantly lower in the post-intervention group than that before intervention(P<0.05),the physiological curvature of Th5/6,L1/2 was significantly higher in the post-intervention group than that before intervention(P<0.05),total flexion-extension activity of Th2/3 was significantly higher in the post-intervention group than that before intervention(P<0.05),total flexion-extension activity of Thl/2 was significantly lower in the post-intervention group than that before intervention(P<0.05),flexion activity of Th2/3 was significantly higher in the post-intervention group than that before intervention(P<0.05),flexion and extension activity of Th5/6 was significantly lower in the post-intervention group than that before intervention(P<0.05).Conclusions1.The direction and degree of scoliosis affects the balance of the left and right flexion of the spine on the coronal plane. The greater the degree of scoliosis is,the more serious the imbalance of left and right flexion movement.2.Health Qigong and five-animalexercises are beneficial to the recovery and maintenance of the physiological curvature of the sagittal and coronal surfaces of the spinal thoracolumbar segment, have the function of'"bi-directional" regulation in regulating the activity of thoracolumbar segment of coronal spine andsagittal spine.
