| [purpose]This study is based on the income and expenditure analysis of the psychiatric specialty hospitals’ departmental total cost accounting,in-depth analysis of the development status and existing problems of municipal-level psychiatric specialty hospitals under different special development models,and comparative analysis of the scope and standards of financial subsidies for psychiatric specialist hospitals.The problems existing at the level explore the financial subsidy input of municipal-level psychiatric specialist hospitals in line with the actual demand and supply of doctors and patients,and construct financial subsidies input models for municipal-level psychiatric specialist hospitals,in order to promote the sustainable development of municipal-level psychiatric specialist hospitals and improve psychiatric specialist hospitals provide the basis for the financial compensation policy.[methods]This study obtained information on the operation of the municipal-level psychiatric specialist hospitals,the development model of the specialists,the financial subsides input related literature,data,and policy information through document retrieval,interviews with key figures,data collection,etc.,and combined qualitative and quantitative analysis.The analysis method analyzes the operation and development mode of the municipal-level
