Medical and health services is a major livelihood issues which related to the health of people and happiness of households.Constructing and improving the medical service system is the priority among priorities of medical and health undertakings.Public hospitals are accounted for dominance in the health system at the present stage,so we must accelerate the construction and development of public hospitals.We launched a new round of health care reform in2006, and reform of public hospitals is also as an important element which was put on the agenda. Subsequently, the related institution of hospital financial and accounting systems have also been revised. The H hospital which the paper selected is an typical case in the municipal hospitals. H Hospital is a three B’s municipal public hospitals with thousands of people today,but one of less than100people as a health care hospital in the past. H hospital achieved today’s success is inseparable from its "special way". In its implementation process of special way, operation and finance as two key factors played a crucial role. In this paper, we explore the characteristics and current status of operation and financial strategy, more intuitive representation of the relationship between them by using coupling effect.This dissertation is structured into seven chapters.The logic of this research is first reviewed from two aspact of hospital operation and financial management, founding the lack of existing problems through summarizing experiences and lessons from domestic and foreign,proposing the issue which the paper studies.Chapter2focuses on the theoretical analysis of hospital management,also including the specialty operation and hospital financial management theory. Then,in the case study section, Chapter3introduced the basic situation and evolution of H hospital, elaborating its management and organizational structure. Chapter4based on the internal and external environment analyses, we find specialty operation which H hospitals take is reasonable. And we also give more details about the operating results and financial effects it brought. In Chapter5,by analysing the financial condition of H Hospital, summaried the financial strategy H Hospital imposed, as well as the impact on operation. Chapter6makes further analysis of coupling effects between operation and financial strategy of H hospital. Finally,chapter7summarizes the main results in this disseratation, proposes comments and suggestions and put forwards the further research direction.Main contributions are as follows:First, a objective understanding of the process of hospital’s operation and financial management, also a certain understanding of hospital management.Second,by analyzing the internal and external environment of H hospital and the situation of its management, understood the special way which it choosed has practical significance.Third, the specific reality of H hospital show their mutual influence between the specialty operation and financial strategy.This influence is coupling effect.Finally, The coupling effect is applied to hospital management, expanding the research path of hospital management.And for more development,other hospitals can learn this method and implement According to their own reality.
