Clinical Observation Of Acupuncture And Moxibustion Combined With Rehabilitation Of Anterior Cruciate Ligament Injury After Reconstruction

Purpose: To study about clinical effect of acupuncture therapy combined with postoperative rehabilitation of reconstruction under arthroscope for anterior cruciate ligament injury.Methods: Select 60 anterior cruciate ligament injury patients treated under the arthroscopic reconstruction during September 2014 and January 2017 from Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated Hospital.Based on the hospital numbers,the patients were divided into control group and experimental group by the coin method.For control group treated with the conventional rehabilitation,17 of 30 patients were male,other 13 were female,aged from 20 to 50 years old.The average age was 37.13 years old.For experimental group treated with acupuncture on the basis of control group,20 of 30 patients were male,other 10 were female,aged from 20 to 50 years old.The average age was 37.80 years old.Observe knee joint flexion angles and swelling degree of affected side of two groups on the 2nd,4th,6th,8th,10 th,12th,14 th days after operation,complete VAS measures and statistics analysis.Results: 1.There is no statistical difference in age,gender,weight between two groups.2.Knee joint swelling degree for two groups on 2nd,4th,6th day after operation has no significant difference.On 8th,10 th,12th,14 th day,there is a sharp reduction in the degree of swelling for experimental group,with statistical differences between the groups(P<0.05).3.The result shows that there is statistically significant difference which the flexion angles of experimental group increased each day is much higher than that of control group from the 2nd day after operation when rehabilitation exercises for knees begin.4.According to the statistical results,patients of two groups have general degree of pain on first two days after operation.There is no statistical difference within the degree of pain for two groups.From the 4th day,VAS measure of experimental group go down obviously than that of control group with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).5.The statistical analysis of curative effect showed that the effective rate and effective rate of the treatment group were higher than those of the control group..Conclusion: Application of acupuncture therapy combined with postoperative rehabilitation of reconstruction under arthroscope for anterior cruciate ligament injury can solve the complications after operation.It has significant effects on the functional recovery of knee joint,prevention of muscle atrophy and adhesion of soft tissues.This method provides a great help to the recovery of knee joint proprioception.
