Purpose:Through the clinical investigation method to described the correlation between phlegm and rheumatoid arthritis disease activity.Material and method:The patients were selected from May 2016 to January 2017 in the Department of Rheumatology,Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,Department of Rheumatology, the First Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University,Department of Rheumatology and Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine.(P <0.05).The clinical data of the patients were collected, including sex, age, body weight, abdominal circumference, number of tender joints, number of swollen joints,VAS pain score, phlegm score,ESR,CRP,blood lipid level and DAS28 score.Quantification of phlegm indicators include phlegm score, obesity(BMI level)and abdominal obesity(waist circumference).SPSS 22.0 software was used to analyze the data. The application methods were descriptive analysis, independent sample t test, variance analysis, linear correlation and regression, and the test level is P <0.05.Results: 1.Among the 113 cases,21 were male and 92 were female, the ratio was 1: 4.4.There was no significant difference between diabetes mellitus and diabetes mellitus(P <0.05).Serum triglyceride, cholesterol and low density lipoprotein had no significant correlation between the three groups and the DAS8 score,P> 0.05.Morning pain time,VAS pain score and RF level, the three and DAS28 score were statistically significant,P <0.05;anti-CCP and the correlation with DAS28 score was not statistically significant.2.113 patients with a total score of 4 points and above, accounting for 68.14% of the total;phlegm score and DAS28(r = 0.310,P = 0.001)were statistically significant.3.113 patients had a BMI level of 24.46 ± 3.45 kg / m2,overweight and obese patients in 65 patients, accounting for 57.5% of the total cases, accounting for 40.7% of the total cases,BMI and DAS28 linear correlation was statistically significant(r = 0.215,P = 0.022).The waist circumference of 113 patients was 80.24 ± 7.46 cm,and the linear correlation between waist circumference and DAS28 score was statistically significant(rho = 0.438,P = 0.000).Conclusion:1.Patients with rheumatoid arthritis with phlegm score,BMI index and waist circumference and disease activity was positively correlated;2.Phlegm and rheumatoid arthritis disease activity is related to suggest that patients with rheumatoid arthritis, the greater the degree of phlegm, the higher the degree of disease activity.
