| BACKGROUND The subthreshold depression refers to a state of sub-health,in which people have symptoms of depression,but have yet to reach the clinical diagnostic criteria of depression.According to existing research,the prevalence rate of subthreshold depression was about 19%.Subthreshold depression was widespread in the crowd.Some researches reported that subthreshold depression group had higher risk in the development of depression and severe depression than ordinary people.The cognitive processing characteristics of subthreshold depression group had not reached a unified understanding.The theory of traditional Chinese medicine emotional superiority could effectively improve subthreshold depression patient’s emotional state from the perspective of "cure before ill".But its targets and mechanisms of action were unclear.OBJECTIVE To explore targets and mechanisms of action of the theory of traditional Chinese medicine emotional superiority on the subthreshold depression group.METHODS This study uesd the posters to recruit participants,and evaluated subjects’emotional state by the center for epidemiologic studies depression scale and Hamilton depression scale(17).We regarded subjects that CES-D>15 and 17<7<HAMD-17 as the subthreshold depression subjects,and then used the stochastic indicator method to divided subjects into subthreshold depression mood induction group(group A),subthreshold depression subjects in control group(group B),normal subjects in control group(group C)and normal subjects mood induction group(group D).Based on the theory of traditional Chinese medicine emotional superiority,built by the movie clips and pleased-mood-related memories,the mood induction plan was used as experimental material for subsequent research after a preliminary verification.This research combined Oddball paradigm and event-related-potential technology.Group A and group D involved in behavioral science experiment after induction.Group B and group C directly involved in behavioral science experiment,and considering the experimental ethics,accepted the induction after the experiment.This study used the emotional state questionnaire designed based on visual analogue scale to evaluate the subjects’ emotional state before and after induction,using accuracy and reaction time as the behavioural indicators,and using the amplitude and latency as indicators of ERP indicators.We used SPSS 22.0 to statistical analysis data.RESULTS(1)The sample size for A group was 14 people,for B group was 13 people,17 people for group C,and 16 people for group D.Demographic information,according to the analysis of this study,had no statistical difference between the 2 crowds or among the 4 groups.(2)According to the mood score analysis,there was no interaction between crowd and measuring time(F = 0.016,P>0.016),and measuring time had the main effect(F = 70.016,P<0.05).The crowd had main effect,too(F = 6.229,P<0.05),for delight emotio.For sorrow emotion,there was no interaction between crowd and measuring time(F = 0.28,P>0.28),measuring time had no main effect(F = 2.57,P>2.57),and the crowd had main effect(F =9.57,P<0.05).For anxiety emotion,there was no interaction between crowd and measuring time(F = 1.480,P>1.480),the measuring time(F = 1.8552,P<0.05)and the crowd(F =13.313.P<0.05)both had main effect.(3)Behavior data analysis showed that the correct rates of group B had statistically difference facing different types of stimulation(X2 = 8.227,P<0.05).The response time between group A and group C facing neutral stimulus had statistics difference(X2 = 2.645,P<0.05).And other analysis among different groups and stimulate types hado statistical difference.(4)The result of ERP data,such as the map of eeg found that there was strong negative potential activation between 200-300 ms after the stimulus presentation in the right frontal area,near FZ,F2,FCZ,FC2 channel,and strong potential activation between 300-430 ms in the left side of the top area,near CZ,Cl,CPZ,CPI channel.There was no interaction between the groups and stimulate types for the amplitude of N2 composition in frontal area(F = 12.617,P>12.617).The groups(F = 8.282,P<8.282)and types of stimulus(F = 1.294,P<0.05)both had the main effect.There was no interaction between the groups and stimulate types for the incubation period of N2 composition in frontal area(F = 0.437,P>0.437).The groups(F = 2.039,P>2.039)had no main effect,and stimulus types(F = 11.383,P<0.05)had the main effect.There was interaction between the group and stimulate types for the amplitude of P3 composition in top area(F = 4.922.P<0.05).And groups(F = 1.788,P>1.788)had no main effect,while the stimulus types(F = 3.282,P<0.05)had the main effect.There was interaction between the group and stimulate types for the incubation period of P3 composition in top area(F = 7.606,P<0.05).The groups had no main effect(F = 1.363,P>1.363),and the stimulate types had no main effect,too(F = 1.873,P>1.873).CONCLUSION This pleased-mood induction scheme built in the study could effectively improving the emotion state of subthreshold depression subjects and normal subjects,as reducing anxiety emotion,enhance the delight emotion.Further analysis found that pleased-mood adjusted the cognitive mechanism of subthreshold depression subjects by enhancing cognitive control,enhancing attention to positive stimulus processing and cognitive processing ability to neutral stimuli.Induction can made part of the cognitive processing and the attention to positive stimulus processing returned to normal level for the subthreshold depression subjects,while enhanc the cognitive control ability and cognitive processing capacity of neutral stimulus stronger than normal level. |
