Purpose:By watching different types of emotional videos, evaluating the changes of auditory exogenous components(P1,N1,P2)and endogenous components(deviation MMN,novel MMN and P3a)and theta, alpha and beta in the non-attention state, the EEG characteristics and mechanisms of auditory automatic processing in different emotional contexts were explored in order to provide feasible electrophysiological indicators for the objective evaluation of emotions.Method:Using the oddball paradigm of auditory tristimulus with cross-channel under non-attentive condition,48 subjects(24 boys and 24 girls)were asked to watch different types of videos carefully while ignoring the auditory stimulus played in headphones. After each video was played, the subjects were asked to evaluate its valence values and arousal. The ERP results of three different auditory stimuli were recorded and analyzed.Results:(1)For females, the average amplitude of novel MMN induced by task-independent auditory stimuli in the context of violent emotions was larger than that in neutral emotions;for males, there was no emotional effect.(2)For females, the peak latency of novel MMN induced by auditory stimuli with independent tasks was smaller in the context of violent emotions than in the context of neutral emotions;similarly, males did not show emotional effects.(3)The gender effect ot the difference wave between violent emotion and neutral emotion showed that the average amplitude of novel MMN in females was significantly larger than that in males.(4)The results of time-frequency analysis showed that the theta band of female students showed greater energy value than that of male students in neutral emotion.Conclusions:(1)The above results showed that female students'brain auditory processing was more sensitive when they presented violent emotional videos and females had advantages in regulating violent emotions.(2)The difference of the late and middle components of event-related potentials(ERPs)in auditory automatic processing under the background of visual emotion could indirectly or directly reflect the difference between genders.
