| Objective:Through the study of Han and Miao women’s natural menopause from Guizhou Province,Guiyang City,analysis and summary the differences of menopausal age between the two nationality and the possible factors that influencing natural menopause between two nationality.In order to understand the natural menopause status and its possible influencing factors of women in Guiyang city.Method:Using multi-stage stratified cluster random sampling to survey this study starting in 2012 by using self-designed questionnaire survey,in 9 regions of Guiyang City,2000 Han and Miao female whose natural menopause age between 40-60 years old were chosen.The survey includes residence,education level,body mass index,mother’s age at menopause,sleep quality,family economic status.Using SPSS 19.0 software package and the variance analysis to describe the natural menopause age among different populations.Single factor analysis of variance was used to describe the correlation between the factors and the natural menopause,and multiple linear regression analysis was used to analyze the related factors affecting the age of natural menopause.The difference level was set to 0.05.Result:1.Here were 2000 people being investigated,1687 valid questionnaires were recovered,of which 945 were Han,and 742 were from the Miao nationality.2.The natural menopause age of the investigated population was(48.12 ± 3.33)years,Han women’s natural menopause age(47.83 ± 3.37)was earlier than the age of Miao women whose natural menopause age was(48.50±3.24)years old.Through comparative analysis of variance,the age difference of natural menopause between the two ethnic groups was statistically significant(F=16.886,P=0.000).3.The total population of the survey in the city was 947 cases,the percentage was 56.13%,the natural menopause age was(48.26±3.29)years old.The total population of the survey in the rural was 740 cases,the percentage was 43.86%,the natural menopause age was(47.95±3.37)years old.By comparison,the results showed that there were significant differences(F=3.779,P=0.052),and that there was no significant effect on natural menopause age in urban or rural areas.4.The total population in the survey of cultural degree of Chinese blind or primary school were 985 cases,the percentage was 58.39%,the natural menopause age was(47.95±3.31)years old,the cultural degree of junior high school were 373 cases,the percentage was 22.11%,the natural menopause age was(48.36±3.40)years old,the cultural degree of high school or technical secondary school were 208 cases,the percentage was 12.32%,the natural menopause age was(48.25±3.51)years old,the cultural degree of College and above are 121 cases,the percentage of 7.17%,the natural menopause age ass(48.12±3.33)years old.The results showed that there was no statistical significance(F=2.349,P=0.071)in the age of natural menopause,and the degree of education had no significant influence on the age of natural menopause.5.There were 1499 cases of normal range of the body mass index in the survey,the natural menopause age was(48.22±3.26)years old,the overweight were 77 cases,the natural menopause age was(47.58±3.85)years old years,the underweight were 111 cases,the natural menopause age was(47.14±3.68)years.The results showed that age of natural menopause had statistical difference(F=6.651,P=0.001),that body mass index had an effect on the age of natural menopause.The natural menopause was late those with normal BMI menopausal compared to underweight and overweight.6.There were 310 cases about economic situation of the family in the survey,the average age of natural menopause was(48.66±2.87)years old,the medium were 1143 cases,the average age of natural menopause(48.14±3.50)years,the poor were 234 cases,the average age of natural menopause(47.35±2.85)years old.The results showed that different economic status had significant difference in natural menopause(F=10.57,P=0.000),family economic status had an important effect on age at natural menopause,The natural menopause was late those with better family economy.7.There were 43 cases in the survey of Mother’s menopausal age less than 40 years old,the average age of natural menopause age(44.37±3.85),the menopausal age of mother at 40-45 between were 517 cases,the average age of natural menopause was(45.39±2.66)years,the mother’s age of menopause between 46-50 years old were 836 cases,the average age of natural menopause(48.64±2.06)years,the mother’s menopausal age greater than 50 were 291 cases,the average age of natural menopause was(52.11±2.30)years old.The results showed that mother menopausal age had an effect of age on natural menopause(F=555.733,P=0.000),the later of mother’s menopausal age was,the later was the informant.8.There were 962 cases in this survey who had a good sleep,the average age of natural menopause was(49.32±2.66)years,the general sleep quality were 613 cases,the average age of natural menopause(46.57±3.42)years old,the poor sleep were 226 cases,the average age at natural menopause age(46.37±3.65).The results showed that different sleep quality had statistical differences on natural menopause(F= 174.817,P=0.000),who had a sleep good whose menopause was late.9.The average estradiol level for 1533 cases was(71.42±24.41)pmol/L,the estrogen levels was(86.94±25.19)pmol/L of the one who menopaused 1-2 years,the estrogen levels was(68.43±23.07)pmol/L of the one who menopaused 3-5 years,the menopause estrogen levels was(66.70±24.65)pmol/L of who menopaused over 5 years,by the analysis of variance was statistically difference between them,(F=21.82,P=0.000)。10.One-Way ANOVA analysis showed that body mass index,family economic status,mother’s age at menopause and sleep quality was the factors affecting women’s natural menopause,(F=503.144,P=0.000).The multiple linear regression analysis indicated that constant coefficient was 42.849,standardized regression coefficients were-0.043,-0.05,0.637,-0.235.Conclusion:1.There was statistical significance between Han and Miao women’s natural menopause in the Guiyang City,and Miao female’s natural menopause was later than Han women.2.The natural menopause of Han women’s mean was(47.83 ± 3.37)years old,the median was 48 years old.The natural menopause of Miao women’s mean was(48.50±3.24)years,with a median of 49 years.3.Body mass index,family economic status,mother’s age at menopause and sleep quality affect women’s natural menopause age.The menopause was later who had normal BMI then who was overweight,the underweight’s menopause was the earliest,the people who had better family economy status had a later menopause,the mother’s menopause was positively correlated with the informant’s age of natural menopause,the better sleep quality was,the later of natural menopause.4.The level of estrogen in postmenopausal women decreased significantly,it was lower than that in the follicular phase. |
