Objective: Through hypotensor medicinal properties statistical analysis to investigate the characteristics of TCM syndrome factor and drug law in hypertension.Methods: Using Modern Periodical Database for Antihypertensive Chinese Medicine reported in literatures from 2005 to 2015,by cluster and principal component analysis to explore the characteristics of TCM syndrome factor and drug law of Hypertension on the medicinal properties of Antihypertensive Chinese Medicine(efficacy,four properties,five flavors,channel tropism).Results: The number of single Antihypertensive Chinese Medicine was 87,The results showed that five common factors in Four properties of traditional Chinese Medicine: cold, cool, the cumulative contribution rate was 71.52%, with statistical significance;The results showed that five common factors in efficacy : Clearing heat, calming liver,invigorating yin, promoting blood circulation and resolving phlegm, The cumulative contribution rate was74.32% and there was statistical signifi-cance;three common factors in five flavors,bitter,sweet,pun-gent, The cumulative contribution rate was 86.67%,with statistical signifi- cance;five common factors in channel tropism Liver,kidney, heart, spleen, lung, The cumulative contribution rate was71.04%,with statistical significance.Conclusion: Hypertension of TCM syndrome factor is mainly in the Liver,kidney, heart, spleen, lung,especially close with liver.Disease of TCM syndrome has a reputation for Liver yang hyperactivity, yin deficiency,heat, blood stasis, phlegm.The rule of Chinese medicine in treating hypertension is more choice of bitter, sweet, acrid cold drugs, and reuse of nourishing yin and suppressing yang, clearing heat and purging fire,phlegm, promoting blood circulation to remove blood stasis antihypertensive traditional Chinese medicine.
