The Natural Beauty Of Chinese Classical Gardens

"Natural beauty" is an important category in the history of aesthetics,and also the main feature of Chinese classical gardens.It is because of the application of this feature that Chinese classical gardens have been celebrated for thousands of years.So how does the natural beauty of Chinese classical garden show? What does it tell us about contemporary society? This is the focus of this paper.The author studies it mainly from the following three parts.The first chapter,based on the concept of "nature" and "natural beauty",expounds the aesthetic origin of "natural beauty" of Chinese classical garden.The second chapter focuses on the expression and creation method of "natural beauty" in Chinese classical gardens.Chapter three reveals the cultural characteristics of the natural beauty of Chinese classical gardens and its significance to Chinese contemporary society.
