Application Of Classical Garden Construction Skills In Contemporary Environmental Design

With the rapid development of China’s economy,the level of living has been improved,and the exchange of information is becoming more and more frequent,and cultural exchanges have begun to move towards globalization.However,the invasion of foreign culture has also brought impact on the lives of local residents.The traditional way of life and habitation has become increasingly incapable of meeting the needs of contemporary times.Especially in the process of urban modernization,the past single environment greening progressively turns to high quality landscape construction.Culture,quality and ownership have gradually become a labelled garden vocabulary.Then,the classical garden culture,as China traditional culture treasure o,contains aesthetic and humanistic ideal of the Chinese people,how to restore the traditional through a classical garden culture,And inject new vitality to contemporary landscape it is a responsibility of the contemporary landscape designer.Based on this background,in this paper the cultural context of Chinese classical gardens was analyzed through theory and practice.The construction techniques of classical gardens were summarized,and the concept of gardening,spatial layout and expression technique were tried to sort out.Concretely,through the actual case of landscape design of Wuhan campus courtyard,with theory and practices,using the paint technology,to describe both the connotation of Chinese classical garden,and composite contemporary aesthetic requirements of the contemporary landscape.
